Our Montreal office is currently looking for a Client Consultant to develop new projects and support existing clients across the USA and Canada. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing organization looking to expand its presence and service offering.

Eco-Counter’s clients range from some of the most progressive cities in the development of active transportation to picturesque natural areas. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Establish a comprehensive understanding of client objectives to identify best applications of Eco-Counter's solutions

- Generate new business through prospecting actions and quick responses to incoming requests

- Conduct meetings with decision makers in Cities, Counties, States, regional parks and other public agencies

- Use Salesforce to manage client accounts and opportunities

- Guide prospects and clients toward the best adapted solution for their data needs

- Establish a network of contacts and new projects participating in conferences, events, and meetings

- Creatively contribute to the overall efficiency of the Eco-Counter team

Requirements:

- University degree in relevant field (environmental science, outdoor recreation, planning, or business)

- 3 to 5 years experience in consulting, sales, account management or business development

- Strong communication and presentation skills in English and French

- Ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly and effectively in-person or virtually

- Interest in active transportation, outdoor recreation, active transportation, natural areas

- Capacity to travel in the United States and Canada (6-8 times/year)

Required personal skills:

- Highly motivated, curious and driven individual that is eager to learn

- Actively listens client needs and identifies potential opportunities

- Comfortable working autonomously to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and diverse projects

- Enjoys creative problem-solving and continuous improvement to processes and operations

- Outstanding interpersonal, communication skills and presentation skills
